| As our name implies, we are not a fishing lodge and so do not have full facilities for fishermen, but do try to accommodate and ask for your co-operation on certain things. You are welcome to store some fish in whatever space we have in our freezer. However, we ask that you not leave fish waste on the premises, in or out. We do not have facilities onsite to dispose of it immediately and if left outside attracts bears, raccoons dogs etc. Quite apart from getting “high” very quickly in warm weather. There is a fish cleaning table at Clutesi marina-launching ramp on river road approx 3km If you do have messy garbage we would prefer you hand it directly to us. In a bag of course! Parking Also, your welcome to park your boat and/or trailer for free whilst with us (please ask where) but we would appreciate people not doing mechanical work, changing oil etc. We also do not have facilities to dispose of “environmentally sensitive” waste. | Our main policy at Alberni Dew Drop Inn is "do the right thing" and be considerate of other guests (and your hosts) Please don't cook fish in our suite (Goes right through our house for days) You're welcome to use our BBQ on the sundeck. Please ask first. We'll show you how if necessary. A licence is needed for all fishing in BC including gathering Shellfish.
